Amos Mtshali is an accomplished digital forensics and cybersecurity specialist with more than 15 years of experience in forensic investigations, cyber-enabled evidence analysis, digital intelligence, and information security. As Manager: Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity and Head of Itsamaya Holdings’ Digital Forensics Laboratory, he leads the delivery of specialised forensic services, cyber investigations, digital evidence management, and advanced data analytics solutions for clients across both the public and private sectors.

Throughout his career, Mr Mtshali has been involved in complex and high-profile investigations, providing expert digital forensic support, evidence collection, data recovery, cyber incident analysis, and forensic reporting. His experience spans a broad range of investigations, including cyber intrusions, intellectual property theft, industrial espionage, fraud investigations, and tender-related misconduct.

Over the course of his career, he has provided digital forensic and investigative services to organisations operating in broadcasting, energy, healthcare, insurance, micro-finance, construction, and government. His professional portfolio includes supporting significant national investigations, including work associated with the State Capture Commission of Inquiry (Zondo Commission).
